Born the son of a British Guynese Sugar Cane Plant Manager, Brahme R. Singh learned early on
the value of a humble assurance, hard work and shear determination. Upon graduation, Brahme
left home with five hundred dollars, a suitcase and a dream to make it in America.
After his arrival in New York he was lured to the gentle shores of the Great Lakes. Once in
Minnesota, he aspired to study Mechanical Engineering in the hopes of landing a good job.
Upon landing his first job as a Draftsman for a Plastics Molding company he worked his way up
through the ranks and jumped at the chance to try his hand at Sales.
Brahme's natural talent and way with people lead him to climb the ladder to become a District
Sales Manger calling on the likes of IBM, Kodak, Xerox and Compaq. His relationships won him
the privilege to join a company in which he was able to double revenues from 1.5 million to 3 million
in only one year. Within 5 years the company sales soared to over 5 million.
Eventually, his itch for a new challenge lead him to try his hand at a partnership to expand the
sales of yet another company, but he soon realized his ambition to break out on his own was too
strong. He parted ways to pursue his entrepreneurial dream.
In 1992, he began Vista International Products, Inc. and worked his contacts to develop the
business. Yet entrepreneurship was not easy, the road was fraught with hard work and even
harder challenges. Nearly ready to give up and living on a prayer, he won the trust of his first big
client. With determination, he continued to cultivate client relationships to prove his metal as a
man of his word and deliver outstanding quality & service.
In 2002, after viewing a profile on a local confidential document shredding company he decided, "I
can do this and jumped in with both feet." With nothing but the will to succeed and some due
diligence he launched his second business, VIP Shredders, Inc. As identity theft awareness
moved into the spot light and HIPPA, Sarbanes-Oxley and compliance became part of the everyday
business landscape, business took off. His partnershships with MMSDC and MEDA blossomed.
Word of mouth grew. As did the company's reputation of quality, flexibility, consistent delivery and
outstanding relationship oriented service.
But Brahme wasn't done yet, ever the consummate entrepreneur, Brahme decided it was time to
explore yet another new horizon and created VIP Document Solutions, LLC. by leveraging his
years of industry contacts and people in the know. The result was an end-to-end solution to
convert paper documents into usable electronic capital and transform the way businesses
access, utilize and back-up their valuable data. And as they say, the rest was history...
